Director of Programs and Exhibitions
Develop and offer innovative programs and experiences that ignite imagination and engagement in the arts.
Manage temporary and permanent exhibitions and other public programs that creatively and effectively engage the Museum's audience.
Guide and assist interns, volunteers, and committee members in installing exhibitions in the museum's main galleries.
Proactively develop relationships with local and regional artists to showcase their work in solo and group exhibitions.
Review and accept exhibition proposals in coordination with the rest of the FAM team and the Exhibition Committee.
Recruit, train, and collaborate with contracted staff and part-time art teachers, two committees, and various rotating interns and volunteers to provide outreach programs to local museum partners.
Work with the Exhibition Committee to schedule a calendar of exhibitions and related programs.
Collaborate with the FAM Executive Director in curating selected exhibitions from the museum's extensive permanent collections.
Coordinate with the FAM Assistant Director to create promotional materials for new exhibitions, programs, and events.
Other duties may be assigned.
