Job Description

Research And Development Coordinator
Develop and refine supplement formulations for various delivery formats (i.e., capsules, gummies etc.). Create and test product prototypes to assess performance and feasibility. Identify technical problems or product failures, develop hypotheses, and design experiments to test and resolve issues effectively. Assess raw materials for appropriate usage within formulations and communicate with ingredient suppliers to support the procurement process. Design and conduct consumer testing initiatives and analyze feedback. Collaborate with the formulation team to implement formulation adjustments to enhance product efficacy and customer satisfaction. Collaborate closely with contract manufacturers to troubleshoot and resolve technical manufacturing challenges. Ensure timely and accurate production of prototypes and finished products by maintaining clear communication with manufacturing partners. Oversee third-party testing for potency, stability, and safety to ensure all products meet regulatory standards and quality benchmarks. Stay updated on ingredient advancements, new delivery formats and industry trends to drive continuous product innovation and maintain best in class products.

Job Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years in R&D, product development, or manufacturing coordination within the supplement or wellness industry. Strong expertise in formulation development across multiple product formats. Proficient in managing third-party testing and understanding regulatory requirements. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot technical challenges. Ability to interpret and leverage consumer feedback for product improvement. Exceptional organizational, experimental design and project management skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
