Job Description
Vice President Finance
Oversee all aspects of accounting operations, including accounts receivable, payroll, and cash management.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Prepare and review monthly financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Manage the budgeting process, including forecasting and variance analysis.
Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Conduct general ledger reconciliation and ensure proper double entry bookkeeping practices are followed.
Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that support strategic decision-making.
Lead the accounting team in developing skills and competencies through training and mentorship.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a similar field.
Active CPA certification.
Public Accounting experience required.
5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with standard cost accounting experience.
Proven experience as a Finance Director or similar role in financial management.
Strong technical accounting skills with a thorough understanding of GAAP.
Proficiency in accounting software and systems; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
Demonstrated ability in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Exposure to logistics, distribution, or similar industries.
Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
Compensation Package:
Salary Proposal
$250,000 Per year.
